Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Hey, I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Michael and I sure did enjoy ours. Our Christmas celebration sorta began on the 23rd. Michael is the bestest best husband in the whole world and got me a kitty. We had to try to butt crack no where to get her but it was worth it. Her name is Rump. I had to work that night. It was a lot of bread to bake for Christmas Eve. There were over 200 rolls; just to give you an idea. I only got 3 hours of sleep that night because our Christmas Eve was PACKED.
It started with a work party at my boss's house. She lives in butt crack no where too, but it's in a different direction. It was quite a drive but a lot of fun. She made a TON of Mexican food and we had guacamole and chips and salsa and a ton of desert. It was nice for Michael to meet the people I work with. It was also nice for the people I work with to put a name to a face with Michael.
We left the party at 4:00 to head to the church grounds to be Joseph and Mary in the live nativity. We were sharing the nativity scene with another family in the ward; the Pritchetts. Well, it was raining pretty hard in Oakland that day so the nativity was canceled. The Pritchetts were nice enough, though, to invite us over to their house for Christmas Eve dinner. It was really nice to visit with them. They made a very yummy meal. We had crab, rolls, beans, and a corn pudding...I think that is what it was called. (funny story: I put crap instead of crab at first) We then were able to enjoy a princess cake. This is a cake with marzipan and strawberry...pretty much, in a green dome shape. we also had a big box of See's Candy to eat. Needless to say; I had a lot of insulin this day.
After a really fun evening we went home. Michael opened one present and I pet my early present. We then read the Christmas story and I was OUT!!
Michael woke me up Christmas morning at 8:30. I had fallen asleep on the coach and he turned on the fireplace. It make s a clicking noise when turned on. We opened presents and watched two movies, Shrek 2 and Wall-E. We then went over to a friends house and enjoyed a wonderful ham dinner.
Overall we had a great time. It was different spending Christmas with only the two of us. I mean we did hang out with other people, but we were the only family members that we saw. It was kind of nice to do our thing and create our own traditions. Anyways, marry Christmas everyone!
